Are you a songwriter? Have you ever written a song, or thought about what it might feel like to write one? If so, you are invited to join our Lenten Songwriters’ Circle. For 6 weeks during lent—every Monday evening—a group of songwriters will be gathering for a time of intentional, consecrated creativity. Every week, each participant will bring and share a new original song (at least verse and chorus). And you keep coming back each week until you don’t have a song to share, at which point you stop coming. This may sound intimidating, but it’s actually quite joyful. As people made in the image of our Creator, each one of us has been made to create! And by creating in committed community, we will see the grip of perfectionism get looser and the flow of creativity open up. (Remember, the rule is that each week you bring a new song, not a good song :)) Come try it out - there will be a concert at the end.
