This Lent, we are going to practice simply walking with Jesus. We will do this as we look at the gospel of Mark chapters ten, eleven, and sixteen.
This Sunday, we continue our Lenten series, Walking with Jesus, with a reflection on Jesus’s encounter with Bartimaeus, a blind beggar who models what faith looks like in practice. Tina will be teaching on the role hunger plays in the life of faith, and how desperation, urgency and desire can help shake us out of our worry over reputation, our passivity and our numbness to lead us closer to the heart of Jesus.
