Each month, our nonviolence group meets to talk through the principles, steps, or commandments of nonviolence as stated by MLK. This grounds whatever campaign we’re doing in a Christ-centered discipleship model.

Our current campaign is to pursue no more homicides in New Haven. We have two main approaches to that goal: 1) we celebrate every time no homicides happen in our city or we mourn lives through a liturgy for homicide we do the last Saturday of every month and 2) we pursue creative action around a few policy goals to end homicides in New Haven.
