As we continue our series, Following: The Life of Peter & Our Life of Discipleship, we’ve seen Peter have some ups (walking on water) and downs (sinking a few minutes later). This is often how following Jesus can look and feel like — highs and lows – as we try to stay near to God. Some of this comes from perceiving Jesus imperfectly. This Sunday, Josh will share a day in the life of Peter getting something incredibly right about Jesus (that he’s the Son of God) and something incredibly wrong (that Jesus should never suffer, die, and be raised). Are we honest with ourselves that, like Peter, we also see Jesus imperfectly sometimes?
