This week, we are continuing our Lenten series called “Drawing Near,” and we’ll continue our teachings on how Jesus’ shed blood has created a new way of life for each of us. Last week, Josh powerfully shared what it means to accept the gift of Jesus’ bodily sacrifice, which is not a story of vengeance— but a story of transformation and restoration. He powerfully explained how Jesus’ sacrifice did the “main act” of drawing us close to Him and restoring our relationship with God. This week, Deniqua will share with us how our new lives of being drawn to Jesus equally pulls us toward one another. She will speak to us about how community cannot be considered casually, but as a necessity for a better world.
