The Power of the Ask! Much of our violence comes from anger and frustration over lack, ours and others. What if in the face of lack, we ask God for what we need? What if that sometimes looks like asking others, including people who we might perceive as passive, neutral, uncaring, or even against us? This is vulnerable! And yet, it allows our nonviolence to begin with the possibility of agreement and newfound connection not just with signs and marches.
