On Sunday, Josh kicked off our Lent series, “A Costly Love.” He shared that if we want to love others in a costly way, we first need to receive God’s costly love for ourselves. Indeed, God invites us to slow down, to stop chasing after the wind, and to turn towards Him. In this season, that is exactly what we are doing together. Our hope is that we grow in love towards God and love towards others in a way that will mark our community for years to come. Next Sunday, Liz Moore will share about the costs of forgiveness and why it’s essential to loving God and loving others well.
