How does this different world that’s possible affect how we interact with one another? It turns out when God’s Kingdom comes close, our worldly ways of seeing each other necessarily change. Symbols of status like our neighborhoods, our education, or our wealth don’t put us ahead the same way in this new world that is to come. Similarly, ways that we are seen as weak to some do not mean we are left behind or sit at the bottom of the pack in God’s eyes. Whichever “side” we might relate to, we also don’t remain separate in either category. Josh shares this new world that the prophet Isaiah envisions that has friendly lions and wolves and courageous calves and lambs.
