Why does vision matter? An ancient message in Proverbs, a book famous for its wisdom, says “Without vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). Vision provides direction, stability, and hope. It is our virtual North Star, a way to be reminded of where we are going no matter where we are. At ECV, our season of transition has given us an exciting opportunity to examine our vision, as a church, and to hone in on how we see God bringing that vision to ECV, our city, and our world.
