Last week, Matt kicked off a new series, Love Is Greater than Fear. We discovered from the very beginning of God’s story in the Garden that fear is something that separates us from God. However, it’s the love of God that can conquer our fears. This Sunday, we’ll talk about how God’s love also compels us to love the people around us even when we’re afraid. The Book of Esther is a strange book that doesn’t actually ever mention God by name but our heroine, Esther, clearly rejects fear out of her love for God’s people in a moment that was crucially important in the story of God.
