The last two weeks, we heard about the reason God speaks to us (God loves us) and about the specific direction God may have for us: direction on where to go, what to spend time on, what cause to champion. Sometimes that direction is clear enough that the only ̉challenge is summoning the courage to follow where God is leading. But often, it’s not that simple. God’s voice can be hard to sort out from all the other voices that clamor for our attention, and what God says can be surprising enough that we’re right to pause and look for confirmation. The good news is that we don’t discern the way alone. Here, Matt helps us think about the ways that we discern the way of Jesus together in community.
