This Lent at ECV, we’re looking at how Jesus endured the Cross “for the joy set before him” and how we can go and do likewise as we pursue the vision God has given us as a church. God calls us to learn to discern the voice of God through prayer and earnest dialogue. Learning to recognize the voice of God is central to everything we do at ECV—and it was central to Jesus’ life as well. On Sunday, Matt will share how we can learn to recognize the voice of God and why the life lived in response to that voice for the sake of joy tends to be marked by suffering.
