Last week, Josh kicked off our new series, Origin Story (link). He talked about how Moses’ story doesn’t begin with confronting Pharaoh or parting the Red Sea or receiving the Ten Commandments from God. Instead, Moses’ story begins with ordinary and courageous midwives who resist an evil ordinance. Our story, like Moses’, stretches farther back than we could imagine. This week, Josh will share how our origin story moves deeper in our hearts than we might think. Moses, at an early age, faces an incredible conflict. Who are my people? Is this a conflict that births inevitable anger and violence or is it the seed of a calling?
