We’ve been digging in this fall on what it means that God is seeking after the city of New Haven and has invited us to seek the peace of the city as well. As the pinnacle product of human culture in all its diversity and complexity, cities are the fullest expression of the unfolding of God’s good creation. Once we see this we see that God’s universal call to humanity is in a very real sense to build cities. It is the most human thing we can do: to co-create with God in bringing culture to its full flourishing. Listen as Matt invites us to follow Jesus in building the city.
