After church on April 16, ECV’s Church Council and ECV’s staff will share updates around our budget for FY24, our emerging church-wide grievance policy, and congregational next steps around our work on sex, gender, and sexuality. First, we’ll share a high level view of the FY23 budget and some of our hopes and goals for FY24 – there may be a surprise in the budget so come and check it out. Also, give! Next, the Council will share ECV’s emergent work on a church-wide grievance policy to continue safeguarding the work of God in our midst. This is a proactive effort to help churchgoers feel secure in our relationships with one another and to equip every ECVer with information about where to go in the event of any misconduct in the life of our Body. Lastly, the staff will give an update on congregational next steps in our ongoing work around sex, gender, and sexuality. Light fare will be provided.
