One Year Later: A Practice in Laying Down & Picking Up
From 6:00 pm to 6:30 pmThis time last year, Covid-19 interrupted our Sunday Gathering for what we felt might be a short time until the summer. A year later, we can feel the heaviness of carrying a collective burden for so long. It’s easy to move past that fact, but at ECV, we want to remember. On Sunday evening at 6pm after our livestream, we will hold space for a very simple in person offering to lay down what we’ve been burdened by, pick up a scripture we need, and to be together at the one year mark of our lives being marked by isolation, distance, and uncertainty. This short time will end at 6:30 with a few hymns.
