Nonviolence Workshop
From 8:00 pm to 10:00 pmNonviolence Workshop – Tuesday, 8pm, on Zoom. Last year around this time, we did a sermon series on Jesus’ way of nonviolence. You can find those talks here. We also did a companion Zoom workshop that went deeper in the practices of nonviolence, including a lot of workshopping with real-life situations that came from the lives of the participants. This year, we’re continuing to go deeper in nonviolence on Mondays at 8pm. The Zoom link is right here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/92723480678. Nonviolence as Jesus articulates is an ancient path that folks have picked up time and time again for present difficulty. This was true of Gandhi, MLK, Cesar Chavez, and more. As an ECV friend & Vineyard Pastor, Ted Kim, recently said at our 2021 national conference, “God’s work in history doesn’t repeat, but it does rhyme.” I think nonviolence is a powerful rhyme for our times. Come learn and explore more.
