Holy Saturday Cleanup

April 3, 2021 10:00 am April 3, 2021 3:00 pm America/New_York Holy Saturday Cleanup

On Holy Saturday, We observe what we might call the “pause” between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Saturday during Holy Week is full of anticipation, as we sit in the time between Jesus’ death, and His promised resurrection. During this time, we are welcomed into a tender moment of waiting and remaining faithfully present to where we are as we wait. This year, in consideration of being present, we want to draw near to the city that we long to see goodness in. On April 3, 2021, join us for a time of community clean up. We will sprawl around New Haven in different neighborhoods and times to pick up trash, piles of leaves, and take part in seeing our city well. We will be on the New Haven Green, Kensington Neighborhood, Newhallville, and Beaver Hills. If you are interested in joining the cleanup please be sure to contact the lead for where you would like to help out.  Here is the list of leaders and meet up sites.
