Join us Friday, May 1 at 7:00 pm for a discussion about rule of life in the age of COVID. Join the zoom gathering here.

What does a “rule of life” have to do with a pandemic? Potentially, everything! COVID-19 has upended our lives and brought upon us a “new normal” of sickness, suffering, death, uncertainty and anxiety. In January, we looked at how to formulate a Rule of LIfe, a spiritual rhythm that helps us connect with God and cooperate with His work of formation in our lives. This Friday night at 7 pm over Zoom, we will revisit our Rule of Life in light of the challenges and resulting anxiety we are facing. Note: attendance at our January workshop is not necessary to participate Friday.
We will spend some time discerning our desires toward God in this season and God’s invitations to us. We will look at the role of emotions in our lives and how we can respond to them in a healthy way. We will also look at some spiritual practices that are particularly helpful right now in dealing with stress and anxiety. This is without a doubt a difficult time but with God, we have everything we need to have healthy souls and live with God’s peace in our lives. We look forward to seeing you this Friday on Zoom!

After the rule of life Zoom around 8 pm, we’ll have the opportunity for extended prayer ministry, at the same link led, by Ryan Mays as part of our Friday night Love > Fear prayer offerings. Come for one or both ways to care for your soul!
